Made with high quality centuries-old wood reclaimed from old piano keys, on a hard wearing bamboo base

Ebony is a dense dark hardwood, finely textured and has a mirror finish when polished, making it valuable as an ornamental wood. It is often cited as one of the most expensive woods in the world.

Many species have been classified as endangered or vulnerable on the International Union for Conservation of Nature red list.
